They are very important. In women, prostaglandins allow the woman expansion so that a baby can be delivered without having to rely on a c-section or episiotomy. I took an anthropology class when I was attending college where they talked about cultural traditions that were aware of this. They are actually a real natural prostate herbal substance because they cut down on swelling and swelling is what most people with a prostate problem complain about because swelling prevents you from going to the bathroom – or else it makes you feel the need to go all of the time. So this is one way to deal with swelling.
