Weaning Yourself from Medifast After Weight Loss

When you wean off the Medifast diet, there are specific steps you should follow. There is what they call a transition phase because while on the program, you ingest mostly shakes and soups. The first thing you should do is start out with some oatmeal at breakfast. You can also have fruit for snacks. Exercise has to be a part of everyday life or this will not work. You should exercise five days a week. It should be pretty low impact during the restrictive phase of the Medifast diet. Once you are transitioning from the diet to regular food, it becomes very important to maintain an exercise regime.
