What causes dandruff?

July 11th, 2008

Are you plagued by the question – is drandruff contagious? Well don’t rack your brains and simply try to cure dandruff as it is not contagious at all. You should be aware of the reason behind this disease. One of the most common causes of dandruff is a skin condition called Seborrheic dermatitis that is noticed by a red and oily skin, filled with yellow or flaky white scales. This condition not only affects the scalp but even all the areas that have oil glands like the sides of the nose, eyebrows, backs of the ears, armpits, and other areas as well.
