Electronic Fencing Can Do The Trick

There are many types of fencing that you can install to protect your pets and to keep them from leaving your property. One popular type of fencing that can be used for cats or dogs is called an invisible fence. If you use an invisible fence as cat fencing or dog fencing, your cat or dog will need to wear a special collar. This special collar is an electronic collar that works with wires that are buried underground. When your pet starts getting close to the buried wires, a beep is emitted from the electronic collar. This beep is a signal to your pet to keep away from the perimeter. If your pet chooses to try to cross the perimeter, a small shock will occur which will serve to deter your pet from crossing the perimeter in the future.
