How do you do positive dog training?

I’ve heard a lot about different methods for training a dog, and it just never seemed right to me that the only way to raise a good dog was to use things like choke chains and constant yelling and screaming at the dog when it did something wrong. I was so glad to learn about positive dog training and ever since I started practicing it with Spike, things have been so much better. No, they’ve been awesome! Spike doesn’t pee or poop in the house anymore, and he’s completely stopped chewing the furniture and jumping on people when they come over to the house.
