How to install hardwood flooring

Ok, I am no expert on installing anything. But when I have to install hardwood flooring, I’ll do my research. It does appear that the prefinished hardwoods that have the ability to snap the boards together could be a project even I could handle. Choices like do I want to glue the floor down or float it? I don’t know what the advantages are to either method. That is where I would need to do some research and ask some questions. I assume floating is easier to do but how does the floor feel when you walk on it. Can you float or glue any type of floor… lots of research.
