Is It Really A Good Idea To Show People Magic Tricks Revealed?

One of the most intriguing things about magicians is how they have a secret battle going on within them almost all the time. Part of them would love to show everybody their magic tricks revealed, because they would immediately get recognition for being skilled. But as soon as they revealed their magic tricks, they wouldn’t be able to do the tricks anymore, because naturally people would know how they were doing them. It is a constant struggle of putting off short term gratification for longer term and deeper satisfaction. That is one of the reasons they are so skilled and sought after individuals.
