AMD Athlon Processors and Intel Processors

I thought before that AMD processors were inferior to Intel processors.  That was before, maybe because Intel made it first in the micro chip business.  Now AMD Athlon Processors can be seen in most of the brands of different computer maker.  I have nothing against Intel, Ive used many computers running on Intel processors.  But when I tried a computer with an AMD processor, I was really impressed with its performance.  My doubts about this brand vanished into thin air and it made a believer out of me.  Now we can choose between these two which are both good products.  And we all know that competition between brand makers are always better for consumers.
