A Multi-City Ticket May Not Necessarily be More Expensive

September 2nd, 2010

We tried to book our honeymoon to Italy, but were having trouble finding a return flight without an overnight layover. We even searched with different dates and Flight Destinations. However, we noticed that the cheapest flight had an twelve-hour overnight layover in Paris. I had an idea. I did a multi-city search instead. That way, we could spend a couple nights in Paris on our way back. It turned out to be the same price! With this longer stop in the most romantic city in the world, we now get to break up the return flight so that our final flight home is nonstop.
