Staying in Hotels in Spain for the Tomatina Tomato Fight Festival

We heard last year that in Spain there was a crazy festival called the Tomatina Tomato Fight festival, where people throw tomatoes at each other in the streets. This sounds quite extreme, but we thought it looked so much fun that we wanted to try it. We are now in the process of looking at hotels in Spain and booking our flights. The fight started quite a number of years ago in 1940, in thein the village of Buñol, near Valencia. No one is quite sure why this happened, but it’s happened every year since. Either way it should be so much fun and very messy!
